A walk in the park

After our first attempt at some street shots, we decided to go back to basics and do what was more familiar to us..... taking our own photos... again :)

I couldn't be more excited to debut my first electric blue jumpsuit and very cute La Box bag!

What I love most about this bag is the unique style and also amount of detailing - just beautiful!

First street shots...

Colour blocking is the biggest trend on our streets at the moment. I'm loving the hot pink blazer from Zara - I tried to look for one over the weekend but the small sizes were all gone! 

For petite frames, I found that it is best to pair sandals with shorts or mini-skirts - so to create the illusion of longer legs :)

If you prefer prints, you can still create the colour blocking effect - try keeping to bigger prints so as to keep the focus on the colour.

Partying it up!

Overcome with stress the past few weeks, I was happy to go on a weekend away this week - enjoying the company of family & friends at a beautiful wedding ceremony in Bowral!

I am so glad I took some time off to share this intimate and joyous occasion with the lovely Bride & Groom. The ceremony was very romantic, it was set on a picturesque vineyard and there were lots of champagne, wine and canapes to go round! 

As expected, there was an overwhelming amount of beautiful women in the most stunning dresses! Lace was a big hit at the wedding - from leather lace to bright-popping colours!

Accessories were also very high on the agenda! Chucky bracelets and beaded pouches - very cute!

Night out with my new Pumps!

We enjoyed a nice quiet dinner near the harbour this evening - no particular occasion, I recently bought a beautiful pair of heels and just wanted to take them for a little ride! :)

I love the colour - it's my new favourite! The suede is absolutely divine and the black heels also contrasts with the deep maroon. I'm also loving the concept of the strap, it helps keep your heel in even if the shoe is not a perfect fit - fabulous for small feet! :)

Sighted.... mingling at the ARIAS !

We had the wonderful opportunity to rub shoulders with the stars at the 25th ARIAS Awards over the weekend, and guess who we saw?! The beautiful pint-sized Fashion Queen herself - KYLIE MINOGUE!

Looking lavishing as usual, Kylie wore a delicate lace dress with a sheer skirt (in black) - the current fashion trend of 2011! Think Christian Dior, Alberta Ferretti etc.
The straps on the back gives this dress a bit of sex appeal, and the sheer overlay on the mini-dress is very flattering on her petite frame (careful so not to overwhelm her body like more heavier fabrics may).

Platform heels also gives great height to a small frame - so if you're wearing a long dress, don't forget some matching heels :)
